Is there more information on how to set up the materials? I am having a hard time identifying the "bulletin board word family card."
That is a great question, Kristen! There should have been a "Getting Started" page that came with your kit.
In the mean time, here's what I do:
I organize the materials based on the packages: Bulletin Board Materials, Teacher Materials, Student Materials, and Center Activities. I have 4 labeled containers next to my white board and teaching table. That makes it easy to grab whatever materials I need for teaching whole class or small group. I keep all the Center Activities materials in one container and pull it out during center time.
I also keep many of the items up in pocket charts visible all the time, like Rhyming Cards and Vowel Sort Cards.
I will take some photos of how my materials are organized and post them on the website. Please look for them next week and let me know if you would like further help! If you are local, I am always available to stop by and help.
Also, the "Bulletin Board Word Family Card" is an 8 x 10 laminated card with an elephant and green train car. It looks like the Student Word Family Cards, but larger and without any printed letters.
Please let me know if you do not have one, and I will mail you one as soon as possible.
I am very disappointed that the amazing PA lessons I was teaching with Kindergarten has come to a hault. Are you planning on providing any more online resources so I can continue to teach the kindergarteners? I don't even have the manual.
Thanks for your help.
Thank you for your post! We are equally disappointed, and please know that we are scrambling to put materials online for our teachers.
If you need an online version of the manual, please email me directly since that will be accessible to our existing customers soon.
My best during this time of crisis in education,
