The Just Right PA Intervention Curriculum K-2™ includes: Teacher Intervention Manual, laminated Bulletin Board Materials, Teacher Materials, laminated Student Train and Spelling cards, Student Materials, and Center-based Activities. There are enough materials for an intervention group of 6 students and 1 teacher.
There are 100 individual small group intervention lessons which follow an explicit and sequential scope and sequence. There are many additional lessons for targeting specific individual skills, perfect for either Tier II or Tier III instruction.
Lessons are designed for 20 minutes of phonological intervention each day. The curriculum begins with sentence and word retrieval, syllable manipulation, onset and rime, orthographic mapping, phoneme segmentation and manipulation, blending and spelling. The scope and sequence helps build foundational skills before adding work with isolated phonemes. Perfect for making gains during the developmental grades of K-2, but certainly still appropriate for any student demonstrating phoneme or phonological deficits.
